Experience
In addition to working with private clients, Maike Dring has presented workshops for a number of organizations, such as the Institute for Lifelong Learning at Queen's Belfast, RNIB, Action Cancer and various community groups. Maike has delivered complementary therapies for children with special needs in two special needs schools for over 15 years.
In conjunction with Donard Special Needs School, Maike Dring secured a grant from the Southern Health and Social Care Trust, HPA and CDHN. The grant program entitled "Promoting positive mental health & wellbeing" enabled Maike Dring to develop a skills course for carers/parents as well as offering group Bowen treatments for parents, carers and staff, addressing both physical discomfort and improving mental health.
Maike has relocated from Northern Ireland to Cambridge, UK in January 2022.
