Aromatherapy treatments at Essential Wellbeing Cambridge use the healing and relaxing properties of natural essential oils to improve your health & wellbeing in a holistic manner. Therapeutic Aromatherapy treatments are a valuable stress management tool, increasing resilience to stress and improving your quality of life.

How does it work?
Your therapist chooses essential oils tailored to your personal health issues. These essential oils are blended into carrier oils, balms, creams and lotions so that they can be applied to your skin. The essential oil blend is absorbed through the skin during the massage treatment, reducing stress levels and affecting your mind, body and emotions.
A typical treatment
The first Aromatherapy session here at Essential Wellbeing Cambridge will take approximately 1 hour. Your therapist will take time to ask you about your symptoms, lifestyle and medical history. A Full Body Aromatherapy treatment includes a reflex analysis of your feet, enabling your therapist to select the most beneficial essential oils for your session. The essential oils are blended with carrier oils matched to your skin type and then applied during a full body massage treatment.
How many treatments do I need?
It is recommend that you have 2 or 3 sessions to gain optimum benefit from the Aromatherapy. However you are welcome to attend for a single session, it is your choice!
